"Gilmore Girls" follows single mother Lorelai Gilmore and her daughter Lorelai "Rory" Gilmore and their lives in the small town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut, a close-knit community filled with quirky characters. The series explores family, friendship, generational divides, and social class. The series features fast-paced dialogue, with frequent popular culture and political references and social commentary. These manifest most clearly in Lorelai's difficult relationship with her wealthy upper class parents.
