Graham Shiels stars as Cody Paul, an Iraq war veteran looking to numb his memories, on SOAPnet’s first serialized drama for primetime “General Hospital: Night Shift” which premieres July 12 and will air Tuesdays at 11PM.

Cody would rather pop a pill than confront the trauma of being soldier, but resident therapist Lainey Winters sees right through his tortured soul act. She’s not about to over prescribe him medication even when threats are made on “General Hospital: Night Shift.”

After graduating from the Yale School of Drama, Shiels has appeared in numerous television series including the upcoming season finale of “Shark,” “NCIS,” “In Justice,” “The Closer,” “Hawaii,” “The West Wing,” “JAG,” and “Charmed” among others. He has also appeared in the feature films "This Girl's Life" alongside James Woods, Michael Rapaport and Rosario Dawson and the upcoming "Hydra."

Shiels originally hails from Vancouver, British Columbia.
